Electrical Service Engineer / Commissioning Engineer
Huddersfield
My client is a specialist design and manufacturing company based in Huddersfield, they are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Service / Commissioning Engineer to join their team.
The Ideal Candidate
You will have NVQ level 3 in Electrical and Electronic Servicing or and City in Guilds level 2 or similar.
Your experience will be Electrically Biased. If you have some mechanical experience, this was be advantageous but not essential.
Transport (VAN) will be provided as this role will involve servicing and installations across the UK
The hourly pay rate will be dependent on experience.
This role will initially be a temporary on going contract with a high possibility of becoming permanent.

Manual Miller

My client is looking for an experienced manual miller. The ideal candidate will have worked in precision engineering and worked within the gear industry or similar but not essential.
Lots of overtime is available during the evening and weekend, this is paid at flat rate.
A paid 37.45 per week.
Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:50pm and Friday finish at 12:15pm

Manufacturing and Packing Supervisor

£8.00 Per Hour, Temporary Leading to Permanent after 13 weeks
My client is a specialist in visual merchandising, their client base include many large retail chains.
They are currently recruiting for an experienced supervisor to join their busy distribution department. The ideal candidate will have a Joinery/Assembly or Manufacturing background. You must be a confident person able to deal with all aspects of managing your own division, this would include:
Being extremely "Hand's On" You must be able to understand and recognise the best solutions for packaging techniques/materials and offer the best solution to suit the type of application
Organise all goods in and out; this includes the management o goods ready for collection or direct delivery to customers
Ensure that work in produced to high standard
Deal with customers directly when necessary
Work additional hours as requested.
You must have experience within a similar position in a similar or related industry.

CNC and conventional miller

My client is looking for an experienced time served CNC and conventional miller. The ideal candidate will have worked in precision engineering and worked within the gear industry or similar but not essential.
This will be a 12 week contract which could be extended or become permanent in the New Year. It will be an immediate start for the right candidate and pay rate will be dependent on experience.

Despatch - Warehouse Supervisor

£8.00 Per Hour to start with, this can increase to £9 - £10.00 per hour depending on performance

The ideal person will have a strong distribution/despatch background, you will have excellent planning and organisational skills to enable you to be proactive as levels of business can quickly change. Responsible for the whole distribution area you will manager 2 permanent staff and up to 10 temporary staff, deal with business post, TNT and Parcel Force. The role can include working on evenings and weekends when required, it is essential to be flexible with the hours you can work.

You must be able to run manual press brakes and ideally have a background within the sheet metal industry.
